Description

We will start our trip from your hotel in Barcelona at the agreed time. Our first stop will be at the Costa Brava for an exciting kayak excursion. In L'Escala, a municipality of the Alt Empordà with more than 7 km of coastline, we will discover secrets and charming corners while sailing. Upon arrival, our kayak, with all the necessary equipment, will be waiting for us on the shore. After some initiation instructions, we will start our excursion from Cala Montgó, sailing to the natural tunnel of La Foradada. We will travel along the coast of the Montgrí Natural Park, the Medes Islands and the Baix Ter, characterized by imposing limestone cliffs, small coves and caves of great beauty, which give meaning to the name Costa Brava. After our kayaking adventure, we will enjoy a tasting of the famous anchovies of L'Escala and a delicious lunch to recharge our batteries. We continue our tour arriving in Girona, to enjoy a nice afternoon in this city, known as the 'city of the four rivers'. In Girona we will start our tour at the Stone Bridge (Pont de Pedra), an iconic place to enjoy the panoramic views of the Onyar River and the famous colorful houses that line its banks. From there, we continue to the Barri Vell, Girona's old town, which is a maze of narrow cobblestone streets full of history. Here, we will visit Girona Cathedral, known for its impressive baroque façade and for having the widest gothic nave in the world. In addition to being a prominent scene of the series 'Game of Thrones'. We will culminate our visit to the city of Girona walking along its ancient walls. A tour that will offer spectacular views of the city and its surroundings. The walls are accessible from various points in the old town and provide a unique perspective of how the city defended itself in times past. Finally, we will close this adventurous day by returning to Barcelona.
